The hydro-dynamic features of the camera bodies provide rock-solid stability in the water at the high trolling speeds often encountered. They are Optimized for this un-matched stability when looking backwards toward the bait at high speeds. While they can also be used as drop or pole cameras, they are not designed to exhibit the same degree of stability while being pulled looking forward. (For this application at lower speeds, you should consider our Sea-Drop™ line.) And, you can experience great performance while trolling quite deep with the aid of attached down-rigger weight.
